Ingredients
Sorrel lelaves – 2 to 3 cups,
Tur dhal or channa dhal –Cooked ½ cup (mashed),
Slit green chilies –4,
turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon,
Chilli powder – 2 teaspoons,
Salt – to taste
For seasoning
Ghee or oil – 1 tablespoon,
Curry lelaves – few,
Red Chillies –2,
Crushed garlic – 6,
Mustard seeds – ½ Teaspoon,
Methi seeds – few
Method:
1. Pressure cook the dhal with 1 ½ cup of water till soft. Mash and keep aside.
2. Cook sorrel in ½ cup of water till soft. Mash soft.
3. Heat oil or ghee. Add the seasonig ingredients and fry.Add the cooked dhal, sorrel, salt, chilli powder and slitGree chillies. Cook till thick.
Note:
· Serve with Rice.
