Fish Fry
 
Ingredients:
600 gms karimeen (Pearl Spot)
10 gms ginger
10 gms garlic   
2 teaspoons Eastern Chilly Powder
½ teaspoon Eastern Turmeric Powder
2 teaspoons Eastern Pepper Powder
6 sprigs curry leaves
Oil
Salt   
Method:
1    Grind the ginger and garlic well.
2    Mix all the powders in a little water to form a thick paste.
3    Mix the ground ginger and garlic paste.
4    Add salt to taste.
5    Make few gashes on both sides of the fish.
6    Apply the mixed paste on both sides of the fish and inside the stomach.
7    Keep for sometime.
8    Heat oil and add the curry leaves (without separating the leaves) and fry the fish
9    Remove and serve with onion salad.
