Mango Pachadi
 

 

Ingredients:

1-2 cups Raw mango, Cucumber, Chayote, Pineapple, Carrot, Squash

¼ teaspoon Eastern Turmeric powder

2-3 teaspoons Coconut (grated)

½ teaspoon Eastern Cumin powder

1-2 Green Chillies

Salt as you prefer

Sugar if required

½ teapoon Eastern Mustard seeds

A few Curry leaves

2-3 Red chillies

1 cup Curd/Yoghurt


Method

1 Cook the vegetable in water by adding turmeric powder and salt.

2 Grind together the grated coconut, green chillies and jeera seeds and add this mixture to the cooked vegetable and cook again. Add sugar if the sweetness is not enough.

3 Heat a pan. Add oil and splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilly and pour it to the mixture. Allow this mixture to cool. Finally, add the reqd yoghurt into this mixture and mix well.
